New Beginning: Finding Strength After Starting Over
Four years ago, I thought my life was just beginning. I had moved to a new state, started my transition, and felt like I was on the path to truly discovering who I am—Elle. Everything felt like it was finally falling into place.
But fast forward to today, and life has taken a few unexpected turns. I find myself back home, starting over from scratch, feeling like I’ve lost everything. There were days I thought my life was over, and I didn’t know how I could keep going.
But here’s the truth: with the love and support of my family, I found a way to rebuild. Slowly but surely, I’ve started fresh. I landed a new job, I’m working out regularly, and my wardrobe is completely different—reflecting the person I’ve always wanted to be.
Despite all the progress I’ve made, there are still days when I miss my old life. The ease of living in a place that felt like home, the comfort of knowing who I was before all the changes. But I’ve come to realize that it’s okay to miss the past, while still embracing the future.
The journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth it. I’ve learned that starting over doesn’t mean failure. It means resilience, growth, and the willingness to begin again, even when it feels like everything is falling apart.
In many ways, I’m grateful for this second chance to live life as my truest self. My story is still unfolding, and I’m ready for whatever comes next.
Just remember starting over isn’t always a bad thing!
